He knocks on every door

The reason for my hope.

Have we forgotten the special day Easter is?
An innocent, loving man, died so we can live.
More than just a man, the only son of God above,
He walked the earth and healed, He lived and taught of love.

He reached out to the filthy,
gave hope those crushed in spirit.
He called those far away,
and made sure the poor could hear it.
He revealed to the lonely, the closeness of our Lord.
He fills the empty places,He knocks on every door.

When our hearts were empty, and we thought only of ourselves,
He took our guilt and bore it, the worlds pain upon himself.
He did it out of love, it was a choice he made for us.
Because He loves the Father,and in Him we have our trust.
So each day let us consider, keep one thing in our thoughts,
Our hope for the future, Gods greatest gift..
